Thomas Strategic Consulting was established in 2009 by Phil Thomas, a former senior executive in the hardware, software and consumer goods industries.  Phil has held general management and senior sales and marketing roles for well known companies, such as PepsiCo, Frito-Lay, Inc., Crane and Coin Acceptors.

Phil recently grew the cashless and software business for Coin Acceptors by 5x in 3 years and it was sold for a very nice profit. Previously, Phil was a General Manager and Vice President of Sales, Service and Marketing at Crane Merchandising Systems, the largest vending equipment, payment systems and software manufacturer in North America.  He reorganized and integrated the sales, service and marketing teams of three companies; National Vendors, Streamware and Dixie Narco into one team.  Sales increased by 31%, profits by 21% and reduced costs by -11% with no turnover.

Prior to this, Phil was a General Manager / Vice President of Sales with Frito-Lay, a division of PepsiCo for over 20 years where he had P&L responsibility and every year achieved double digit growth in sales, profits and market share.  He has extensive sales and operations background combined with marketing, finance and P&L responsibility.  He is experienced in building strong teams, developing people, creating and delivering strategic objectives and providing innovative solutions.
